Therapy for Individuals, Couples, and Families
Welcome!
I’m Amanda, I am a Registered Psychotherapist based in London, Ontario. I am fully remote so you can attend therapy from the comfort of your own couch, without the hassle of the commute.
Relationships are at the core of my work; with yourself, with others, and the one we create in the therapeutic space. How could it not be? They are at the forefront of everything in our lives. Everyday you are tasked with deciding how you want to show up in your life - how you care for yourself, your partner(s), your friends and family, at work, to strangers. Sometimes that gets hard when you’ve had to be someone other than yourself in order to fit in and be accepted.
In our work, I really care about helping you to identify and release the parts of you that maybe helped you at some point, but never felt fully authentic; to feel like you are enough; to communicate in a way that helps you be heard; to grieve and accept that some relationships may never look like you hoped.
Meet Your Therapist
Therapy may be the right fit for you if:
you notice yourself feeling stuck in the same pattern but unsure what its connected to or how to change it
you find yourself frequently either anxious or pulling away in your relationship
you have difficulty saying no to people
you are frequently self-critical and would like to be kinder to yourself
you and your partner are stuck having similar arguments over and over again
intimacy feels disconnected
you’ve recognized that elements of your childhood may be having an impact on you now
“
Connection is the energy that exists between people when they feel seen, heard and valued; when they can give and receive without judgment; and when they derive strength and sustenance from the relationship
